TOEFL Words Spelling for Writing Test

1. Overview
TOEFL writing test is a challenge for EFL (English as a Foreign Language) people. When preparing for the exam, you must own a useful TOEFL writing vocabulary. Its content may overlap with generic TOEFL vocabulary that is mainly for reading tests, and it is usually smaller but needs you to spell its words correctly and quickly. Therefore, to prepare words for the writing exam, you have to do more practice: spelling them until you have full confidence.

This website provides online TOEFL spelling practice for all four vocabularies. No matter what vocabulary you study, you can see the Spell button on each group web page. Click the Spell button; you will get a spelling practice page. Each word has a hint card that shows the definition and other possible elements, like pronounce, synonym, and even example sentence. Based on the hint card, you can try to spell the word online.

It is a smart and interactive Internet application. You will know your spelling right or wrong immediately. Try some words, and you will like this handy, convenient, and useful TOEFL spelling practice tool.

2. TOEFL Vocabulary Spelling By Groups
Although spelling practice is a standard feature for all lists, we suggest starting with a small list for most test-takers, such as 300 TOEFL Writing Vocabulary. Because you need to spend much more time preparing the writing vocabulary than reading vocabulary of the same size, a smaller writing vocabulary makes your schedule more feasible.

Of course, if you own a more extensive vocabulary, it means you have more words to express your thought in writing tests. It helps very much to improve your TOEFL writing score.

We take 300 TOEFL Writing Vocabulary as an example to show the spelling sheets. You can enter other vocabularies’ spelling sheets similarly.

300 TOEFL Writing Vocabulary is a small and essential vocabulary for the TOEFL writing test. Its hint card includes multiple language elements: pronounce, explanation, and sentence. This vocabulary has 6 groups. We take the first two groups here.
A TOEFL vocabulary spelling sheet offers either a set of 10 random words or a full word list of the current group. At the page bottom, it has two buttons: Refresh the sheet to get another ten words to spell; Get group's all words.

Below are all links to TOEFL vocabulary spellings based on 4 TOEFL vocabularies; each group has a separate link to launch spelling practice.
