Uniform is the uniformity for everyone. It should be mandatory to wear the uniform as it shows unity among each other. There are some schools thinks it should be for all children, while others think choices should be given to children. Inhttps://www.examword.com/writing/ielts?g=4&a=m&p=4053# my opinion, allowing children to wear the uniform is better than giving them options.
First of all, the uniform is an identity of one school. It shows the dignity among schools which reflect the discipline. for example, if child is lost or seen somewhere at unknown places, it then becomes easy to identify them as of having a uniform. having uniform doesn't show the class of the child. every child is treated equally. there is no inferiority complex among children for having a uniform. They feel they are all equal.
Secondly, if the choices are given, it may have a possibility of judging each other's background. We may see children coming to school with expensive clothes and that can create judgmental issues as some children may feel lower than others.for instance if the child wears daily different clothes it will not show them they are coming to learn but for some fashion show and due to this school's main purpose of serving education would not be maintained. Thus having choice could not benefit anyone.
In conclusion, manners and disciplines and responsibility comes out with the only uniform, hence choices should not be provided
