In the 21st century, modern technology has changed the world profoundly. Some argue that we now have various elements and substances that can replace animals to produce meals and supply the medical and garment industries. Although I agree with this trend, I also argue that we still need animal products.

On the one hand, it is true to say that things made from those living things can bring some results that others can't do, especially food. People need enough nutrients and calories every day to live a healthy life. For example, protein, an essential ingredient for the human body, is hardly found in substitute materials except for meat, such as green vegetables. Some elements in animals help us make more delicious cuisines, more salutary medicines, and more durable, better fabrics.
