Nowadays a significant number of people in the world lead a hectic lifestyle. The majority of people don't have time even for morning exercises as they have to run a rat race every day. Irrespective of world health community's advice on active lifestyle most of the adult population reluctantly fall into the sedentary lifestyle habits. There are a number of problems associated with living an unhealthy, lacking exercises, lifestyle.
First and foremost, lifestyle without physical exercises may result in higher risk of gaining diabetes or obesity problems early in life. On the one hand, in the adulthood, many people don't have time for regular physical exercises because they get married, get children or start working. Despite having a gym next to their home still, they are indifferent to training at the gym. On the other hand, it maybe because the gyms are paid. Not all people want to spend their money for gym subscription for a number of financial reasons, for instance, they may be saving money for buying a house or a car.
Secondly, physical inactivity leads to unhappy circumstances for most people. If people don't do regular physical training their body becomes weak and unattractive. Furthermore, this may cause people to turn to some bad habits such as smoking and drinking alcohol. This will have even more serious negative ramifications for an individual. As far as I am concerned, this type of problems results from the lack of knowledge.
In order to turn the tendency of people to miss the physical exercises a number of measures can be taken. The employers, local communities must promote the healthy lifestyle and make it compulsory for everyone to exercise before starting a workday. More gyms should be built at corporations' offices so that people don't need to commute to the sports facilities. The gyms located in the city must be subsidized for people having a bad economic situation. All these measures, if implemented will help increase number of people attending to the gyms.
All things considered, the sedentary lifestyle is gaining popularity in the modern societies due to tougher economic constraints for most people, however, certain government policies may help local administration educate people about the healthy lifestyle habits. People should re-evaluate their values and make a long-term strategy for improving their time management skills and health to allow time for healthy exercises in a gym, at a sport outdoor facility or merely at home.
