Generally, people are of the belief that large earnings brings job fulfillment. This is a highly debatable essay to which I completely disagree.
Firstly, workers aspire to be successful in their paid job as well as, to have a quantum peace of mind while on this profession. This has led many to find a high paying work in order to keep body and soul together. But recently, the number of death casualties been recorded at workplaces are from the so called big earners organizations. For example, banking industry, where unhealthy competitions are increasing daily and the pressure to meet set target is becoming stiffer thereby sending many employees into early grave.
Also, many salary earners are beginning to lose the passion for the work as it is turning into a mental draining job regardless of the huge amount they take home monthly. For instance, recent studies revealed that most organizations are mounting unnecessary pressure on their employees to over perform especially in the highly competitive market in order to recoup money paid to them as earnings. This above notion is gradually killing the zeal and passion in these workers sending many into depression and ill-health.
All in all, from the above, it is worth noting that not all large earnings brings happiness rather it will be best for each and everyone to find what they have passion for in order to spend their money with peace of mind.
