5th Grade Fry Sight Words

Although the Fry sight words list focuses on readings of grades 3 to 9, we strongly recommend finishing all Fry words before grade 6. It means the 5th-grade students should learn the last 400 Fry words, namely group 7 (the seventh 100 words), group 8 (the eighth 100 words), group 9 (the ninth 100 words), and group 10 (the tenth 100 words). Not only the new words' quantity and difficulty are higher than 4th grade, but also the 5th-grade students also need to spell Fry words correctly in writings. In other words, from grade 5, the Fry sight words list becomes the first spelling word list of children who start to write these words besides reading and speaking them.
