Despite the imminent danger he faced, Daniel trusted in God's protection and emerged unscathed from the den, to the amazement of King Darius and all who witnessed the miracle. In his later years, Daniel continued to serve faithfully in the courts of Babylon, even rising to prominence under the reign of King Darius and King Cyrus. He remained a steadfast witness for his God, proclaiming His greatness and faithfulness to all who would listen.
