Simon's journey with
Jesus began on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, where he and his brother
Andrew toiled day and night, casting their nets into the water in search of fish. One day, as they were mending their nets by the water's edge,
Jesus approached them and called out, "Come, follow me, and I will make you fishers of men."
Without hesitation,
Simon and
Andrew dropped their nets and followed

Simon was known as

Peter was crucified upside down at his own request, considering himself unworthy to die in the same manner as his beloved Lord.
