Question:
Some people warn that the silver screen era is ending and that people will eventually lose interest in going to the cinema. Do you agree or disagree with this view?
Answer 1
Cinema is really popular amongst people either before or now. However, some think that the age of the silver screen is going to be over because people have more entertainment options...

The first point to consider is why some people think cinema is losing popularity. One reason is that, nowadays, almost all families have televisions in their homes, and they would want to see a movie in the comfort of their homes rather than going all the way to a cinema...

Nevertheless, there are two main reasons why the silver screen will never become obsolete. First is that the feeling of watching a movie on television or online will never surpass the instant gratification and thrills of watching in a theater because the screens in theatre are a lot bigger compared to a computer monitor or television screen, and the sound systems, such as that of an IMAX theatre, is far better than home theatre system...

In conclusion, the silver screen will never lose its glitter, and people will always want to watch a first-day-first-show of a blockbuster movie...

Answer 2
It is undoubtedly true that the trend of watching movies in cinema halls significantly dropped nowadays...

Due to the advancement of technology and high-speed internet, a wide range of online platforms like Netflix and Prime are available for entertainment...

The second reason is the technology equipped in modern theatres. The experience of watching animated action movies with 3D and other technologies is far better than enjoying movies on TVs and tablets...

However, expensive movie tickets in cinemas have certainly contributed to increasing the popularity of other platforms, but it is enough to keep people away from luxurious theatres...

To conclude, I write that the fantastic experience and feel of enjoying movies on ultra-high-tech and luxurious silver screens would not be replaced easily by any other entertainment option, especially because of its cost-effective feature...
