This is a search tool to access the website's 205 IELTS General essay questions and their sample answers. General writing task 2 is a 250-400 word essay with a structure similar to the Academic essay but in everyday and ordinary topics.
The search page shows 25 random questions by default. Users can put a filter to search for interesting topics and then access data in the whole question bank, including sample answers.
In the search result, each essay question offers three actions: view details of the question, like question type and test date; view sample answers; and enter an exercise page to practice.
The filter cannot include special characters and should be shorter than 16. If you want to reset the criteria, blank the filter and click the 'Refresh Topics' button.
Besides, each question has a number; you can also put the '#' sign plus the number to the filter to retrieve the question directly, e.g., '#7035'.
