Professor:Today, we’ll discuss how emerging military technologies are changing warfare. New weapons such as drones, autonomous systems, and robotic combat technologies are increasingly being used in modern conflicts. Supporters argue that these technologies can improve military precision, reduce risks for soldiers, and make warfare more efficient. However, critics believe they are transforming the nature of war itself by lowering the political and human costs of military action, potentially making conflicts more frequent and changing traditional ideas about victory and defeat. Some people also worry about ethical issues related to autonomous weapons and remote warfare. What do you think? Are new military technologies fundamentally changing the nature of warfare? Why or why not?
