Basic necessities such as food and medicine should remain affordable because all people depend on them for survival. Without price regulations, some companies may increase prices excessively to maximize profits during difficult times. Price controls can help low-income families avoid severe financial stress and maintain a reasonable standard of living.

Daniel:Although price controls may seem helpful, I think they often create more problems than benefits. When governments force businesses to sell products at lower prices, companies may reduce production because they cannot earn enough profit. As a result, shortages may occur, and consumers could struggle to find the goods they need. In my opinion, free markets are generally more effective at balancing supply and demand than government regulations.
